Interventionist Training & Certification

Debra and I love presenting our interventionist training. Every year, we host a group of seasoned professionals for 5 days of very intensive, hands-on learning. We are honored by the testimonials we’ve received and the life-long friends we’ve made. Would you like to join us?

The training takes place at the beautiful McIver Center at The Retreat, in Wayzata, MN. There are admission requirements, so the training is limited to clinicians and other well-qualified professionals. It is not a course for beginners.

The Retreat provides a home-like setting, which is perfect for the training. We eat together, work together, and learn together. Everyone has their own private room, and all meals and snacks are included in the tuition.

Debra and I are proud of the fact that the Love First Certified Clinical Interventionist training (LFCCI) is widely recognized as the most thorough (and most difficult) training in our field. Let’s face it: most educational sessions are boring. Debra and I can’t stand that. We decided we wouldn’t get into the training space unless we could redefine what a professional training could be. Some say our sessions are like drinking from a fire hose. We say you’ll learn more than you ever thought possible.
