The lovefirst.net website was launched in 2000, when the web was fairly new and html was very basic. We updated from GoLive/html to WordPress in 2007.
The entire site was recreated from the ground up in 2017-2018, which is the site you see today. We would like to acknowledge the people who helped us.
Back-end work and initial template creation was done by Karan Khatri of Webfuel Consulting. He was very helpful in introducing us to the Enfold theme for WordPress, and in providing an initial template framework for our vision. As we undertook this large project, he have us a solid foundation.
We cannot say enough about the Enfold theme for WordPress. It’s worth learning and using if you’re going to build a better website. Our internet service provider is A2 Hosting, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Lots of time-consuming work was done by Karan Batta, in Los Angeles, CA. He is always friendly, positive and productive. Karan has put many hours into this site, and is always responsive to our needs.
Jim Zoetewey has always been helpful with our most difficult technical questions, along with the occasional emergency. Jim is a master of SQL and databases in general, and he was especially helpful when our site was hijacked by malicious hackers. Thanks, Jim!
All art direction was done by Debra Jay. She spent many long hours creating old-school paper mockups of all the main pages, in meticulous detail. Her vision of the site gives lovefirst.net its unique look and feel. She is also the author of most of the written content on the various pages.
Jeff Jay is the webmaster for lovefirst.net. He created the individual pages, sections, content elements, and new templates. He is also in charge of all technical issues, updates, and headaches.
