Steve Anderson is an interventionist and is based in Plymouth Michigan. He has worked in the field of chemical dependency treatment and mental health services for thirty years. He is Masters’ trained and a licensed psychologist. Steve has provided outpatient chemical dependency and mental health services from a family systems approach while working as a staff psychologist for several hospital organizations. Steve has also provided employee assistance professional services coordinating inpatient and outpatient chemical dependency and mental health treatment for employees and family members of employees of the automotive industry and other manufacturing and service industry organizations.
Most recently Steve was the Manager of Admissions, Outpatient Services, and the Family Program at the Brighton Center for Recovery, a residential and outpatient chemical dependency treatment program in Michigan.
Steve believes that individuals and their families touched by addiction can heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually through the recovery process. Steve also believes and that those in recovering from addiction along with their family members can heal together by developing a complete family recovery program through Structured Family Recovery tm.
Steve earned his Bachelors’ degree in Psychology and Masters’ degree in Clinical Psychology from Western Michigan University. Steve’s personal experience with the recovery process has lead to his commitment to assisting and treating individuals and families seeking the gift of recovery.
Steve is a dedicated husband and father and lives in Plymouth Michigan where he enjoys golf and family activities in nature.
